We have two highly experienced USCG Licensed Captains. Captain Mike is a 40-year USCG Licensed Captain and Captain Austin is the son prodigy who is also a Sergeant in the Alaska Army National Guard.

8-hour and 4-hour Kenai Dip Netting charters

We are offering 8-hour and 4-hour Kenai Dip Netting charters from July 10th till the end of the season when Alaska Fish and Game closes the fishery.

Our vessel is set up to fish the Kenai River for dip netting. It has four comfortable seats, a center console for the operator, built in fish box, and a forward scanning sonar off the bow. That way we see the fish before their pass us.

With this, we have a vessel that we will have staged on the Kenai River from July 10th through the 31st of July for Dip Netting.

Eight-hour shared and private charters depart at 8 am. Four-hour charters will run after the eight-hour charter gets back.

WhAT

The day starts off at the Kenai Dock below the bridge in Kenai, Alaska. The day usually lasts about 8 hours or when all the fish are allotted to each permit are caught. This is an Alaska Resident only subsistence fishery. The total yearly harvest out of all the Upper Cook Inlet personal use salmon fisheries Kenai is 25 salmon and 10 flounder for the permit holder and 10 salmon for each additional household member (all household members do not need to be present). As an example, a household of four would be able to harvest 55 sockeye salmon and 10 flounder. All instruction is given. We have all equipment, nets, and coolers on board. All you need to do is bring your favorite beverage, rain gear and lunch.
